Ms. Maharani Babasa is a Registered Social Worker who has been a public servant for twenty years and leads the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) for sixteen years within the said period.
She has a master’s degree in Public Administration and was acknowledged as an Outstanding Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer by the Association of Local Social Welfare and Development Officers of the Philippines Incorporated (ALSWDOP) in 2017. In the same year, MSWDO was recognized as a “Fully-Functional Local Social Welfare and Development Office.”
