Calaqueños are also supported by funding proposed livelihood or income-generating activities of various organizations within each barangay in the municipality.
The Municipal Assistance and Community Development Office oversees the launching and implementation of the said programs. Poultry, bigasan, and dried fish processing are some of the successfully ongoing livelihood projects under NASA TIYAGA.
Aside from the capital or fund augmentation provided to the Calaqueños, they were taught basic information on bookkeeping and business management.
NASA TIYAGA would help the beneficiaries improve their financial stability and way of life.
