Serbisyong Lumalapit Sa Tao

The NASA BARANGAY is an amalgamation of the various programs namely NASA Lakas, NASA Puso, NASA Bilis, NASA Sipag, NASA Ligtas, NASA Disiplina, and NASA Kabatiran in fulfillment of the vision to make government services accessible to every Calaqueño.

Employees from the offices of the Local Government Unit went to various barangays (Bisaya, Calantas, Madalunot, Quizumbing, Puting Bato West) to hold this program.

Health services such as free consultations, fluoride distribution, tooth extraction, and laboratory tests (Urinalysis, Fecalysis, CB, and ECG) were available in each of the selected barangay. Updating of Member Data Record for Philhealth is also possible.

Services dedicated to promoting the welfare of Senior Citizens and Persons with Special Needs were also offered. Registration for different sectors – Solo Parent and Out of School Youth, and application for TESDA Trainings and Orange Card were made accessible to Calaqueños as well.

Additionally, the Office of the Treasurer offered services such as payment for Community Tax Certificate, Property Tax, and inspection and laboratory fees.

Participants also enjoyed receiving vegetable seeds and medications for their animals. Discussions on agricultural income-generating activities such as poultry and farming were also conducted along with dialogs on life and accident insurance for farmers and fishermen.

Through the Local Civil Registrar, requests for birth certificate, death certificate, CENOMAR, and other concerns involving civil documents (e.g. affidavit to use the surname of the father, admission of paternity) may also be raised and processed in the conducted NASA BARANGAY.

Calaqueños may also process their Police Clearance in the comfort of their barangays. The Calaca Municipal Station also conducted an Information Education Campaign on Barangay Court and Barangay Tanod.

Aside from the services offered by the government, the Information Office also brought fun and entertainment through a Videoke Challenge which has three categories: 12 years old and below, 13 years old and above, and Senior Citizens.
